Job Responsibilities
Core Teaching Tasks
•Design and implement 30-minute daily immersive English activities (songs, finger rhymes, role-playing, etc.);
•Integrate traditional Japanese nursery rhymes (such as "Red Dragonfly") and festival customs into English curriculum development;
•Observe and record the language development trajectory of young children, and submit growth assessment reports every semester.
Home-school collaboration
•Hold a "Parent-Child English Workshop" once a month (guide parents to play family games in English);
•Assist the kindergarten in planning language support plans for large-scale events such as "Sakura Festival" and "International Cultural Day".
Professional Development Tasks
•Participate in weekly teaching and research meetings to optimize the implementation strategy of TESOL teaching methods in the early age group;
•Complete at least 40 hours of practical training under the guidance of Japanese early childhood education experts each school year.
Job requirements and working hours
Qualification requirements: College degree or above in early childhood education/English education
•Hold a TEFL-TESOL certificate (must include early childhood teaching module)
•Japanese daily conversation ability (N4 preferred, the kindergarten provides basic Japanese training)
Experience requirements: More than 1 year of teaching experience in kindergarten or early childhood education institutions
•Those familiar with international education concepts such as Reggio Emilia and Montessori are preferred
•Have a first aid certificate (certification standard of the Japanese Red Cross Society)
Working hours: Semester system: April-March of the following year, 5 days a week (Monday to Friday)
•Flexible scheduling: 8:00-17:00 (including 1 hour lunch break)
